The stools are supplied in component form for Self Assembly. We
include assembly instructions. Assembly takes less than 10 minutes and
half of that time is spent unpacking everything and identifying the
components. It is very easy, with only an Allen key needed to tighten 6
bolts.(Allen key & bolts all supplied).
Normally we will assemble the stools for you, at an extra charge,
but we reserve the right to refuse "assembled stool" orders at very busy
times, like Christmas. The extra charge includes the cost of the
additional packaging required and the extra labour to assemble &
pack the stool so that it is not damaged in transit.
The delivery on
Assembled stools will normally be at least one day
longer.
The base has plastic feet underneath the steel, so that your floor
is not scratched.
WE REGRET THAT WE CAN ONLY SUPPLY THESE GAS LIFT STOOLS WITH THE
STANDARD MIRROR CHROME FINISH. No other finishes, like Brass Plate,
Satin or Black, are available. The reason for this is that Chrome
Plating is the toughest finish to resist the rubbing caused by the
vertical and swivelling movement of the seat. Other, softer finishes
would rub off in time.
GUARANTEE
This product is
covered by a full 12 month Guarantee for normal use in a domestic situation.
It is not designed for
use in a commercial situation, where the usage could be much higher.
If anything is damaged
in transit to you, then we will replace that component free of charge.
If any part of the
stool or mechanism is found to be faulty within 12 months of purchase, then we
will replace that component free of charge, providing the stool has been used
normally in a domestic environment. This guarantee does not cover normal wear
& tear.
QUALITY CHECK
Before we despatch
this product, we unpack every component from the original box; we check
everything for visible damage or faults, replacing any parts which are damaged,
then we re-pack the entire stool in a new stronger transit box, with extra
packaging, to ensure that it is delivered to you in pristine condition.
If you do a price
comparison with any other supplier, then please check that they offer this
service also, so that you know you are comparing like with like.
