Upgrade Your John Lewis Bellini Stools with New Replacement Seats

Upgrade Your John Lewis Bellini Stools with New Replacement Seats

For several years, John Lewis and Partners sold Bellini Bar Stools, like the photo. Most of these were covered in Man Made Eco Leather, which is hard wearing. However, it has a limited lifespan then it starts to deteriorate and break down. Normally, the steel base is still in perfect working order, so throwing out the entire bar stool seems a great shame just because the seat is worn.

We offer an easy solution to this problem. We can supply replacement seats covered in Eco Leather or in Real Leather.

There are 27 colours of Eco Leather and 31 colours of Real Leather.

27 Colours of Eco Leather                31 Colours of Real Leather

The Real Leather replacement seats are more expensive, but we recommend choosing Real Leather because your seats will have a much longer lifespan.

The stools have a steel underframe that supports the seat. If you look under the steel frame, you will see 4 bolt heads. When you undo those 4 bolts the upholstered seat is released.

We supply new upholstered seats which can be bolted to the same steel underframe using the same bolts. The job takes about 5 minutes per seat, providing you have the correct Allen Key to undo the bolts. (We can supply a suitable Allen key if you don't have one.)

We have sample cards with cuttings of the Real and Eco Leather- 1 sample card shows all Real Leather colours and the other shows all Eco Leather colours. We can post these sample cards to you. If you want them, please e-mail giving your name, full postal address and phone number to info@breakfastbarstools.co.uk or phone 0141 423 8283. Also please advise if you want to see both sample cards or just one of them. We do request that you return the sample card(s) after you have selected the colour that you want.

John Lewis renamed the stools “Bellini”. The real name is Steve Stools which are still manufactured in Italy. However, the original style of footrest is not available now.  The photo below shows the current bases and footrests that are available.

Here are some projects with Steve/ Bellini stools that we have supplied:-
