The City Stool is an exciting new design with a Laminated, Oak Veneered Wood back. This is extremely comfortable and it gives good back support

The City Stool is the ideal model if you want more wood to feature in your decor. Perhaps it will match with a wood worktop or fascia or a wooden floor? or else just because you love the look and feel of Real Wood.

There are Four shades of Veneer Finishes :-

• Natural Oak  - Ref. RRO
• Grey Oak  - Ref. RCE 
• Burned (Dark Brown)  - Ref. RBR
• Walnut - Ref. NNO

There is no difference in price between these Four Finishes.

The Seat is Well Padded for Comfort and it can be covered in 30 Colours of Real leather or 27 Colours of Eco Leather (A High Quality Man Made Leather Look -Alike.)

Bases
There are 6 different styles of base available:-
 

Base 55 is illustrated in the cover photo and the photo above shows all 6 bases.

Here is the full list of available finishes for every base; -

Mirror Chrome or Black Chrome or Brushed Steel. Alternatively                                                                     
Black or Charcoal or Chocolate Brown or Gold or Bronze or Nickel Satin (Silver) EPC Finish and finally                       
Bright Gold Plated or Brushed Gold Plated for those with larger budgets. 

N.B  Bronze is a new colour which is not shown in the photo above. 

EPC means Epoxy Powder Coated.  This hard, Matt Finish is applied to the steel, then baked in an oven.
The Nickel Satin Finish is a Matt Silver colour
The Gold Plated Finishes use Real Gold, so they are rather expensive. There is an alternative. By choosing Gold EPC finish, you will get a matt Gold Finish at a significantly lower price.. 

You can choose the base and the finish that you want by clicking the "Base Style and Finish" button, then pick the option you like. The extra cost for each selection will show in a bracket beside it (Once we have completed editing the website)

N.B. The gas column must always be chrome plated because that is the only finish that is hard enough to resist the constant rubbing movement on an adjustable stool.  The factory default is to supply Mirror Chrome Gas Columns. (Except for the Black Chrome Base which has a black chrome gas column.) However, with the Black, Charcoal and Bronze finishes, we consider that the gas column should be the Black Chrome Finish, because it blends better with the dark finishes. This is available as an optional extra.

We recommend the Bases with Brushed Steel or EPC finishes because those finishes hide dust and scratches better. The mirror chrome base cover plates act like a mirror lying flat on the ground, so they reflect everything above them - the underside of your breakfast bar, which may not be as attractive as the top with wires and brackets.
Also if individuals are wearing short skirts or kilts, then there can be a modesty issue. (I know, because I wear a kilt occasionally !)

Fixed Height Bar Stool

We have a Fixed Height Version of the City Stool also. The steel legs are available with the following finishes:-

Mirror Chrome or Black, Charcoal, Bronze, Chocolate Brown, Gold or Nickel Satin (Matt Silver) Epoxy Powder Coated Finishes. The footrest is always mirror chrome because this finish is the hardest to resist scuffing from feet.

Matching City Chairs

There are City Chairs available, which match with the style of City Bar Stools. This means that those customers who have open plan kitchen /dining areas, can have dining chairs to match their bar stools.
