Glamour P Adjustable Bar Stools are extremely comfortable Bar Stools that are ideal for use at Poseur Tables, Home Bars or Breakfast Bars. They are just like a comfortable tub chair but on a long centre pedestal. (also there is a Four Leg Fixed Height Base available now)

The standard seat is illustrated in the left hand main photograph. However for those who want the ultimate in comfort, a seat cushion can be added as an optional extra. This cushion is fixed and cannot be removed. A seat with the extra seat cushion is illustrated in the small line drawing at the centre bottom of photo 1.

Glamour P Bar stools can be fitted with 6 different designs of Adjustable Bar Stool Base or 1 Fixed Height Wood Frame Base.. The second small photo on the left shows the 6 adjustable bases. If you click the photo, it will enlarge as the main photo on the page.

N.B Extra finishes for the Adjustable Stool Bases have been added recently.

Here is the full list of available finishes for every base; -

Mirror Chrome or Black Chrome or Brushed Steel. Alternatively
Black or Charcoal or Chocolate Brown or Gold or Nickel Satin (Silver) EPC Finish and finally
Bright Gold Plated or Brushed Gold Plated for those with larger budgets.

EPC means Epoxy Powder Coated. This hard, Matt Finish is applied to the steel, then baked in an oven.
The Nickel Satin Finish is a Matt Silver colour
The Gold Plated Finishes use Real Gold, so they are rather expensive. There is an alternative. By choosing Gold EPC finish, you will get a matt Gold Finish at a significantly lower price.

You can choose the base and the finish that you want by clicking the "Base Style and Finish" button, then pick the option you like. The extra cost for each selection will show in a bracket beside it.

N.B. The gas column must always be chrome plated because that is the only finish that is hard enough to resist the constant rubbing movement on an adjustable stool. The factory default is to supply Mirror Chrome Gas Columns. (Except for the Black Chrome Base which has a black chrome gas column.) However, with the Black and Charcoal finishes, we consider that the gas column should be the Black chrome finish, because it blends better. This is available as an optional extra.

We recommend the Bases with Brushed Steel or the EPC finishes because those finishes hide dust and scratches better.
The mirror chrome base cover plates act like a mirror lying flat on the ground, so they reflect everything above them - the underside of your breakfast bar, which may not be as attractive as the top with wires and brackets.
Also if a girl is wearing a short skirt (or a man is wearing a kilt ) then there can be a modesty issue. (I know, because I wear a kilt occasionally !!)

Please note that if you are planning to eat full scale knife and fork meals while sitting in your bar stool, then we recommend choosing the Glamour S Stool (without Arms), the Doris S or any of the other stools without arms. The reason is that the arms of the Glamour P stool means that it must be placed slightly further away from the worktop to allow it to swivel.(otherwise you cannot climb onto the seat). When eating a full scale meal, it is most comfortable if the plate is nice and close.

We wish to emphasise that Glamour P Stools are extremely comfortable, but we recommend them for use as Bar Stools, not Breakfast Bar Stools.- They are ideal for drinks, coffee or snacks, because then they can be placed further back from the worktop.   

There are Matching Glamour P Chairs, which is ideal if you have an open plan kitchen/ dining area.
Also there are Glamour S Bar Stools and Chairs, in a similar style, but with a higher back.
