The Glamour S Adjustable Bar Stool, with its high shaped back, is extremely comfortable. It gives great support to those with back problems. The Glamour S Stool is a popular and exciting product with so many variations that everyone can customise it to suit their individual tastes.

1. The "S" in Glamour S indicates a Side Chair style - without arms - As opposed to the Glamour P Adjustable Bar Stool, an Arm Chair Style (A Different Product.)
2. We recommend the Glamour S for use at a breakfast bar if you will be eating full scale meals with a knife and fork, because the arms of the Glamour P mean that it must be further away from the worktop to allow for it to swivel without hitting the arms on the worktop. (However the Glamour P Bar Stool is ideal as a Bar stool  if you are having drinks, coffee or sandwiches, when you can sit slightly further away from the worktop.)
3. There is an additional padded seat cushion available which makes the Glamour S Stool even more comfortable. The cushion is fixed in place and cannot be moved. Glamour S Stools with the extra cushion are labelled "Glamour SC". The two options are shown in Photo No. 3 on the Left Hand Side (please click the photo for an enlarged version) – one stool has a cushion, and the other does not have a cushion. 
4. The back can have a plain back or a button back. The two options are shown in photo No. 3 on the left-hand side (please click the photo for an enlarged version) – one stool has a button back and the other does not. Glamour S Stools with a Button Back are labelled "Glamour SB". If the Seat has an Extra Cushion AND a Button Back then the label is "Glamour SBC". 

Naturally the seat can be upholstered in any one of the usual selection of 28 Real Leather Colours or 27 Man Made Eco Leather Colours. The full selection of colours can be seen by clicking the highlighted link - Upholstery Colours  .
There are woven textile fabrics that can be used to upholster the Glamour Stool also. We recommend an upholstery cover that can be wiped clean for breakfast bar stools because they can be subjected to spillages of food, coffee or wine. However, we are happy to give more information about the textile upholstery covers available if they are of interest. Please ask for more information.

Base Designs Available

Here are the bases available for the Glamour S stool: -

Glamour S Stools can be fitted with all 10 bases in all of the standard finishes. As you can see, there are 8 adjustable bases. Here is the full list of available finishes for those adjustable base: -

Mirror Chrome or Black Chrome or Brushed Steel. Alternatively,
Black or Charcoal or Titanium or Chocolate Brown or Gold or Nickel Satin (Silver) EPC Finish and finally                  Brushed Gold Plated for those with larger budgets.

EPC means Epoxy Powder Coated.  This hard Matt Finish is applied to the steel, then baked in an oven.
The Nickel Satin Finish is a Matt Silver colour
The gold-plated finish uses Real Gold, so it is quite expensive. There is an alternative. By choosing Gold EPC finish, you will get a matt Gold Finish at a significantly lower price.

You can choose the base and the finish that you want by clicking the "Base Style and Finish" button, then pick the option you like. The extra cost for each selection will show in a bracket beside it.  

N.B. The gas column must always be chrome plated because that is the only finish that is hard enough to resist the constant rubbing movement on an adjustable stool.  The factory default is to supply Mirror Chrome Gas Columns. (Except for the Black Chrome Base which has a black chrome gas column.) However, with the Charcoal finish, we consider that the gas column should be the Black chrome finish because it blends better with the dark finishes. This is available as an optional extra.

If you are looking for a Real Leather, High Back Bar Stool, which gives superb comfort and support then your search is over. The Glamour S is an Italian Adjustable Bar Stool par excellence. It is not the cheapest in our range, but when is the cheapest the best? 

In addition, we offer two Fixed Height Glamour S Bar Stools - one with Steel Legs and the other with Wood legs. Both stools can be supplied with two seat heights - 66 cm seat height for standard breakfast bars and 76 cm for high bar tables or raised breakfast bars.

Both the steel legs and the wood legs can be finished in several different colours.

The Glamour S stool is one of our most popular stools. Almost everyone coming to our showroom would go straight to the Glamour S sample stool and sit on it because it is so eye-catching. Those who buy it are constantly telling us how comfortable they are.

There are matching Glamour S Dining Chairs, which is great for those with open-plan kitchen/dining areas.
The chairs and bar stools can be covered in the same upholstery. Also, there are several base/ leg finishes which are the same or very similar to give a totally coordinated look.

There is a Glamour P Adjustable Bar Stool which has a similar design (although a lower back). We do not recommend the Glamour P as a Breakfast Bar Stool, because the arms mean that the stool must be placed further from the worktop, which is not so comfortable for eating. However, the Glamour P bar stool is extremely comfortable and ideal for use at a drinks bar or when drinking coffee and eating snacks.
