Warning re Dye Transfer for Real Leather

Some modern Jeans have very strong Dyes, which are not always completely colour fast. As a result some dye can transfer to light colour upholstery or hard surfaces

PLEASE DO NOT SIT ON LIGHT COLOUR UPHOLSTERY WEARING DARK COLOUR JEANS BECAUSE THERE MAY BE A DYE TRANSFER PROBLEM.

We regret that we cannot be responsible for any problem that occurs due to this.

We wish to emphasise that this problem is NOT caused by the leather, it is caused by non-colourfast dye used in the manufacture of the jeans.

Warning regarding the Orbital Leather range

The three leather colours in the Orbital Range are natural colours - untreated and undyed. This means that if the cow had birthmarks, moles or other discolouration on its hide then these will show on the finished leather. By the very nature that each hide is unique, we have no control over these markings and they will NOT be considered a reason for complaint.

In addition, because the Orbital Leather range is not sealed, we feel that there is a danger that liquids spilt onto the leather may soak in and stain it.

Please do NOT select the Orbital leather range if these factors cause concern to you, because we do not accept any liability after giving this warning. 

All 23 of the other Standard Leather colours are sealed and dyed so that they will not have the same issues.
