Replacement Seats

Do you have bar stools or chairs that have worn or damaged seats, but the bases are still in good condition? Don't throw out the bases. We can supply replacement seats that fit every Peressini Adjustable Bar Stool base and most chair bases.

The images above show Rio and Steve stool seats, which are two of the most popular replacement bar stool seats. However, if you look on our Adjustable Bar Stools page, then we can supply any of the seats illustrated, and they will fit your Peressini bar stool bases. Also, look on our Luxury Chairs page, and most of the chair seats will be compatible with any Peressini chair base. 

Bellini Bar Stools

A well-known national retailer sold Steve Bar Stools for several years, but they called them Bellini Bar stools. We can supply Steve replacement padded seats that will fit these bar stools.

N.B. The Steve (Or Bellini) Bar Stool is the only model that has a shaped steel underframe immediately under the seat. We do not need to supply a replacement steel underframe. We simply supply the shaped padded seat, which is bolted to that steel underframe.

The Replacement Seats fit all Peressini Adjustable Stool bases (and most chair bases.)

 Peressini adjustable bar stool bases all have the same square top plate. (See below)

You will see that there are 4 elongated bolt holes, one at each corner. Measuring from one bolt hole to the next is 14 cm. All the replacement seats that we supply have 4 threaded inserts fitted in a square at 14 cm centres. So all the replacement seats will fit any Peressini Adjustable Bar Stool Base. The elongated shape gives some leeway for any minor discrepancies.

Regarding replacement chair seats, most Peressini chair bases have the same square top plate so that any replacement seat can be bolted to the base. However, there are a few chairs which have integrated bases that cannot be separated from the seats. We regret that we cannot replace the seats on those models. The only option with those models is to recover the seats. We can offer this recovery service also, but it involves shipping the items to our upholsterers in Glasgow.

If you have seats that need to be replaced, then naturally you can order the same style of seat and the same colour of upholstery material (If it is still available.)  However, this is the time when you can be more adventurous. Why not choose a different colour of upholstery? Maybe a bright, cheerful colour that will lift your spirits on a dull day or a pastel shade that gives a sense of peace and tranquillity. Maybe you could pick out a colour from the blinds or curtains or a coloured wall panel? You will be surprised how a different colour can alter the feel of the room.

Another option is to choose a different design of seat, because all the seats illustrated on the                                Adjustable Bar Stools page can be fitted to any Peressini Bar Stool or chair base.So you can choose a different style of replacement seat with a different colour for a complete change.

N.B. Some very old Peressini stool bases had smaller top plates. If the top plates on your stools do not have 4 bolt holes in a square at 14 cm centres, then we can supply "conversion plates" so that new replacement seats can be fitted to your bases.
